ATLAS GUIDE

A scratch map online

A digital alternative to a paper world map, with places and memories.

Illustrated travel map with Iceland, Italy and Japan

A digital scratch map instead of paper

A paper scratch map shows which countries you have visited — and that is all it can do. The digital map in Atlas remembers more: the exact city, the route, the date and the photo that makes you want to go back.

Visited countries light up automatically — like scratching off the foil, without the coin and the dust.

Always with you

Your map opens on phone and computer once you sign in. Add places during the trip with one tap using your location, and enrich the story with photos when you are home.

Dreams separate from memories

Save places you hope to visit with the wishlist status. They appear separately on the map and never count towards your visited countries.

A scratch map for two

Travelling together? Invite your partner to a shared trip: each of you adds impressions, and the map shows your shared geography.

Your year in a story

The “My year” card turns your map into a beautiful image for stories: country count, share of the world and a highlighted map. Download a PNG or send it via your phone’s share menu.

FAQ

Why is a digital scratch map better than paper?

It keeps cities, dates, routes and photos, lives on your phone and never “runs out” once every country is scratched.

Can I print my map?

You can print your journal to PDF from the browser. Poster printing is planned as a separate feature.

Is it free?

Atlas is free right now.
